Dr. Keressa Naidoo is a dedicated and compassionate General Surgeon whose journey has been shaped by hard work, personal experiences, and an unwavering determination to serve society in the best way she knows—through the art and science of surgery.
“The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.”
Her medical career has taken her across South Africa, enriching her expertise and deepening her commitment to patient care. She began her journey at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine (UKZN), where she earned her undergraduate degree. She then completed her internship at Stanger Hospital (KZN), followed by a community service year in Qwa-Qwa at Mofumahadi Manapo Mopeli Hospital in the Eastern Free State.
In 2019, she gained invaluable experience as a trauma medical officer at Tygerberg Hospital (Western Cape). Her dream of becoming a surgeon was realized at the University of Pretoria, where she trained from 2019 to 2024, earning her MMed in General Surgery.
Beyond the operating room, Dr. Naidoo is a devoted wife and mother. She believes in treating every individual with dignity, empathy, and respect. Her patient-centered approach is built on honesty, transparency, and a commitment to the highest standard of care.
